
This trip is basically for those who do not have a lot of time and yet want to get to know the richness of Wildlife the country has to offer, Well on this excursion, we spend one day breeze of Lake Victoria.
We start the day by visiting the Wildlife Education Center in Entebbe. This is the only zoo in Uganda and we get to see many animals in an enclosure protected and reduced from the wild. Be sure to see almost all of Uganda's wildlife like Lions & Leopard, Cheetah, mpalas, Giraffes, Carmel, Bushbucks, African Elephants, African Buffalos, Rhinos, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Red Tailed Monkeys, Pata’s Monkeys, Olive Baboons, Shoebill Stork, Peafowl / Indian Peafowl, Ostrich, Gray Crowned Cranes, African Gray Parrot, African Fish Eagle, Nile Crocodile, Marsh Terappin, Gobon Viper Snakes, Egyptian Cobras, African Rock Python and show some love to the chimps at Ngamba Island, What a way to see Entebbe in a day!
Lets go on a safari.
Day 1
Start off from your hotel and head to the Entebbe wild life education center and see the animals at the zoo. At 11 am, transfer by boat to the Ngamba Island where the chimpanzee sanctuary is located. You will see lots of birds and monitor lizards. Breakfast at the sanctuary, after a tour to the beautiful island. Feeding the chimpanzees from midday to 2 pm, then a visit to the chimp clinic. Those interested will take part in the food preps.
In the evening, we embark on our journey back but expecting to make a stopover at the equator to observe how the boat will be pushed by the South and North Pole forces tending to keep in one position. If clearly observed, when the boat crosses the equator, the boat engine will tend to use a little more energy to beat the equator line.
If interested in swimming, this is the right point and you be given some minutes to enjoy the swimming activity and then finally proceed with the journey. You will be awaited by our driver to drop you off to your hotel or Entebbe town.
