Wings Over Uganda(Flying Safari - 8 Days

This carefully crafted minimum of 4 pax safari takes you on a flying wonder, wings over the mighty river Nile, The largest water body in Africa- Lake Victoria and over lush vegetation and a tapestry of forest canopy. What a way to see Uganda…. from above and within the parks!

Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. You will be met and assisted by a SAFARI CHAPTER representative. Transfer to Entebbe for overnight at The Boma Hotel (BB)

Day 2

Transfer by scheduled flight to Murchison Falls National Park 1200/1300hrs, Evening game drives. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (LDBB)

Day 3

Morning Game drive in the park. After lunch we take a boat trip on the Nile, with a walk to the top of the falls. Evening game drives. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (LDBB)

Day 4

Fly by scheduled flight to Kibale Forest Park. Overnight at Primate Lodge whose principal edge is their location, tucked deep in the forest and right next door to the starting point for Chimpanzee tracking excursions. (LDBB)

Day 5

Today we will go chimp tracking in Kibale Forest National Park. Chimp tracking takes about 2-3 hours depending on where the chimps are. On the trek you can see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys along with red tailed and blue monkeys. Your expert guide will share the secrets of the forest' flora and fauna, ensuring that the trail is both informative and enjoyable. In the afternoon we Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (about 3 hrs drive). The drive takes us past Volcanic crater lakes and on a clear day one can see the famous “Mountains of the Moon”, The Rwenzori Mountains. Late afternoon we take game drives. Mweya Lodge is located on a peninsula in the heart of the spectacular Queen Elizabeth National Park, with breathtaking, game and some of the best bird watching in East Africa (about 500 different bird species). Late afternoon we take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, 32 kms long. This water system has the highest concentration of Hippo in the world and we will get quite close to them. Day 6

This morning we take Game drives in the park. Before we fly by scheduled flight to Kihihi airstrip where we are transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Silverback Lodge is perched high above the valley overlooking beautiful flora and fauna. From the Summit Bar you can enjoy après-trekking cocktails with friends and family. Day 7

Today after an energizing breakfast, you will embark on your gorilla trek. It can take anywhere from half an hour to 7 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking boots.It is an extra ordinary feeling sitting in the dense rain forest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining Gorilllas Sadly, we are allowed only one hour with them O/n Silverback Lodge (LDBB) &

Day 8

Take a scheduled flight at 0825hrs/1125hrs,and transfer by speedboat to Ngamba Chimp Island where chimps rescued from captivity are looked after, then later transfer to the Airport for your onward evening departure flight. You will have Day rooms for your convenience at The Boma Guesthouse
